How long does it take?
You will receive a decision within one or two working days of the Funding Panel meeting. Usually we try to let everyone know on the day of the meeting if possible.
The Funding Panel meets as and when required, and always within 6 weeks of an application being received.
Join the Funding Panel
If you are registered as a Friend of Our Neighbourhood, you can join the Funding Panel and help to make decisions about how the Community Fund is spent. Meetings are usually held on a weekday morning in the SubStation on St Andrew’s Parade and take place 4-6 times per year.
You don’t need any previous experience and you don’t even have to come to every meeting; When we need to call a Funding Panel meeting we will invite everyone on the contact list and, as long as we have 6 local residents attending, we can go ahead.
We think you’ll find the Funding Panel interesting and rewarding. It’s a great way to get an insight into what’s coming up in the neighbourhood and make new friends. Contact us to find out more.
