Local group for people with ME

Monday 26th February will see the launch of a new support group for people with ME or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. At the first meeting, which will be in the SubStation (BS23 3SS), the guest speaker will be Suzie Heller, the Practice Manager from Tudor Lodge Surgery.

The voluntary group is run by local resident, Steve Mellor (pictured), who was diagnosed with ME in 2017 and went looking for a support group, only to find that there weren’t any nearby. Steve set up the group with assistance from Our Neighbourhood and the For All Healthy Living Centre. He hopes the group will provide a safe space for people to get together to share advice, meet others and enjoy a cuppa. It will meet on the last Monday of every month at the SubStation.
